Transport Minister Dean Nalder this week confirmed a promised $2 billion light rail route to the northern suburbs had been omitted from the soon-to-be-released transport master plan for Perth at 2050. The Sunday Times understands the plan does include an east-west light rail line between UWA’s Crawley campus and Curtin University in Bentley, the so-called Knowledge Arc.
